Dr. Taras Firman is a principal scientist with a strong mathematical background and over seven years of experience in the data science industry. Leading courses in Operations Research and Machine Learning, he serves as an Associate Professor at Ukrainian Catholic University.

Passionate about software architectures and machine learning, Dr. Firman has a particular interest in the fields of optimization, forecasting, computer vision, and natural language processing. Using his mathematical and technical expertise, he has worked with many companies in various industries to develop document and object recognition systems and various analytical tools.

In his role with Accenius, Dr. Firman validates datasets for machine learning and is responsible for data retrieval, modeling, and architecture design of the genomics platform. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in both Mathematical Economics and Econometrics; all from Ivan Franko National University in Lviv, Ukraine.
