Dr. Rachel Murkett has over 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries that include work in systematic literature reviews, medical writing, and product development. Topics of relevance for her previous work include, DNA/RNA-based therapeutics, artificial intelligence to predict clinical trial outcomes, and CRISPR gene editing.

Serving as the project director, Dr. Murkett coordinates with the scientific team to define, research, and strategize applications for quantum and artificial intelligence technologies and reports to the company executives regarding overall development strategy.

Dr. Murkett’s academic background is in biochemistry, with focal points around protein biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and biophysics. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a first-class B.S. (with Honors), in Biochemistry from the University of East Anglia.
